Principal Investigator
Dr. CHONG Yee Ling
Dr. CHONG Yee Ling's research interests lie in science and environmental education, innovative pedagogy, and environmental microbiology. Her teaching integrates AI-powered platforms, problem-based learning, gamification, and reflective journaling to foster self-directed and experiential learning. She has led multiple teaching development and research grants, supervised numerous postgraduate and undergraduate research projects, and actively contributed to community outreach and in-service teacher training in STEM and science education.

Dr. CHOI Tat Shing Paul is a physicist interested in modelling and studying complex systems in the real world, including statistical physics, traffic flow theory, econophysics, sociophysics, and machine learning. He also explores the integration of new technologies into science education.

Dr. SUN Daner's research lies at the intersection of educational technology and science education, with a focus on ICT-supported science learning, AI in education, mobile learning, technology-oriented STEM education, and the development of higher-order thinking in interdisciplinary contexts.
Dr. YANG Yin Nicole
Dr. YANG Yin Nicole is an interdisciplinary researcher working at the crossroads of cognitive science, language education, and educational technology. Her research explores AI-powered creative language learning systems, Human-AI collaboration, and the cognitive and metacognitive processes underlying learning in technology-enhanced environments, with a particular focus on supporting self-regulated and higher-order thinking.
